Programs Intern – Ebonyi/Remote (RIO Foundation)

Job Description
The Programs Intern will provide administrative and operational support to the Programs Team. This internship offers hands-on experience in NGO program implementation, monitoring, reporting, and community engagement, making it ideal for undergraduates or recent graduates interested in the non-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and implementing program activities.

Support data collection, entry, and analysis for ongoing projects.

Help prepare reports, presentations, and program documentation.

Assist in organizing trainings, workshops, and community events.

Conduct basic research and compile background information for proposals.

Support field visits and beneficiary engagement when required.

Perform general administrative duties for the Programs Team.

Maintain program files and records.
Qualifications & Experience

Undergraduate or recent graduate in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, Education, or related field.

Strong interest in the non-profit/development sector.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team.
